The Rosauro mallets from innovative aren't very heavy in weight. The harder of the mallets are clear, but warm in the articulation, the softer are warm and full bodied, but slightly less articulate. The core is oval rubber and it itself is articulate, the sorfter lines are just darker. The rattan isn't very flimsy, it's pretty sturdy. I totally like the warmth that these mallets produce on the marimba, and they work well on vibes too.
