I have been reviewing both English and Japanese site, and found out an interesting difference. In the English site, BBS is lively while in Japanese site, it is dead. On the other hand, in Japanese site, there are lots of concerts posting to the event section while in English, there are very few. If it is kind of hard for you to use the current event module, I have to thing about changing it. Also, on Japanese site, I am doing blog aggregation on Marimba blogs, while I have not done so in English version.
