I have found that the marimba mallets that I have been using are too heavy to comfortably play faster music involving long runs and scales etc, so I have been using my teacher's vibraphone mallets for this music instead. I would still like a pair of proper marimba mallets though - does anyone have any advice for brands of light mallets and where to get them?
