You know, when I was first starting to play I had a teacher who wrapped moleskin around the ends of her mallets. I did it too for a time. The upside is that it is soft and absorbs amy moisture from your hands, the downside being the shaft is a bit larger then and that takes some getting used to. Moleskin is sold at General Stores in the foor department. It is what ladies put on the insides of their shoes to keep them from rubbing and causing blisters. If you are having problems with moisture this may help.
