Have you tried ordering any of these discs from Steve Weiss Music? How about amazon.com?

Maybe I'm simply blessed to have good stores in my area, but I've been able to find percussion CDs in Borders and Tower Records, and what I can't find there, I can usually locate via the Internet.

I'll admit, one may not be able to purchase that original Vida Chenowith album very easily, but there are plenty of marimba recordings available on the market, by the likes of Stout, Stevens, Evelyn Glennie...
