well...

Dream of the Cherry Blossums is very difficult (I should know, Im doing it right now. If youre really set on doing an Abe piece, I would reccommend Frogs or Michi, to get your feet wet with her music. Michi is very difficult though, dont get me wrong. Prism is a very virtuosic 2 mallet piece that is difficult too. As a general rule dont take any Abe music lightly its very difficult.

Some music I would reccomend to start playing solo music (since youre profficient already) is:

Les Violins Morts-Zivkovic (atmospheric piece)
the Musser etudes (old, but standards)
Austurias-Albeniz/Stevens
2 mexican dances-Stout
Choralles
Two Movements for Marimba-Tanaka

Any of these pieces work as an introduction to solo literature. Have Fun
