I had not thought about some of those issues, but I understand your point. I think it was really the price that concerned me the most as I assume if I had been able to sit down in a quieter room and discuss tuning, he might have explained to me that he knew more about how to tune marimba bars. As a teacher, I know very little about the tuning process, and less about the business world. But with $10,000 of my students money; besides quality or service, one way a small up start company might attract my attention is, lower price. Scott Kitchen
