I recorded Bennett's After Syrinx II on "The Modern Marimba." Unfortunately, Sony Classics, the current owner of the recording, refuses to even discuss re-releasing the CD or selling the rights back to me. Surplus copies of "The Modern Marimba" do occasionally surface on Amazon or Berkshire Record Outlet.

There is also a recent recording of After Syrinx II on Filippo Lattanzi's CD "Fields," but I haven't had a chance to listen to it, yet.

After Syrinx II was written for a 4.5 marimba, with ossia indications for 4.3, although Richard missed a few notes here and there. Just move them up an octave, as necessary.
