Sticking issues with the Rosauro

Hello, I'm beginning the Rosauro and also beginning to see why it is played so much. However I don't understand how its possible to move you sticks and hands appropriately. In the 2nd movement, how do you move your left hand when the right is doing the 16 note triplets. Do you put the right hand mallets on the ends of the bars? Also in the 3rd movement, there is a 1243 pattern but where do you put your left hand so the mallets don't hit each other. Needless to say that I'm very confused, but still very much in love with this piece. If there are any other suggestions for learning or proforming this piece, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
