That's the problem I have with it! It is fine slow, but it is frustrating that it doesn't sound the same when done up to speed. Also, the left and right hands are doing such different things that you really need to play it fast to understand the "groove" that Vinao is trying to convey. And all those huge interval jumps! Ahh!
You can clearly see this piece is very frustrating to me. The same goes for Thomas' "Merlin". I really don't know why. Well, I am workying on Kltatzow's Dance of Earth and Fire and Bennett's After Syrinx II. When I learn to play them stright through (in a long time from now), I will go back to Khan, and maybe I will find it to be much easier.
